So after last week’s double whammy of schlock movies THE EYE and OVER HER DEAD BODY, we look to have finally hit that New Year glut that happens in the industry every single year.
This weekend in the U.S. will see the release of Vince Vaughn’s WILD WEST COMEDY SHOW and the truly despicable looking Paris Hilton star vehicle THE HOTTIE & THE NOTTIE.
And of course the lost treasure/rom-com movie FOOL’S GOLD starring HOUSE TO LOSE A GUY IN 10 DAYS co-stars Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson for HITCH director Andy Tennant.
Surprise, surprise… the word is it sucks!

The current score for FOOL’S GOLD on Rotten Tomatoes is 8%, a pitiful 1 review positive from the 12 posted so far, and that’s before many of the reviews like Cinema Blend’s scatching article have gone up.
Well you all know I hated the trailer for this, to me this looks like another vanity fest along the same lines as that Jessica Alba/Paul Walker star vehicle INTO THE BLUE.
