Craig clearly wants Q back in BOND 23

I wouldn’t be surprised if Daniel Craig is a little annoyed by the public reaction to QUANTUM OF SOLACE and the “it didn’t feel like a Bond movie” reaction which over shadowed for me what was a kick-ass movie and a great performance from Craig in particular.

If Craig isn’t pissed, I bet the Bond producers are. Despite the $417 million worldwide taking so far (which can be seen more for CASINO ROYALE’S success than this movie), I dare say we are likely to see the reinstatement of a few classical Bond elements for the next film just to swell those negative rumblings.

In particular I think we will see either Miss. Moneypenny or Q back, probably both.

Craig, talking to Rotten Tomatoes this week, certainly lets the world know if he had his way Q would be back for the next one…

‘We should give Q to a good actor,’ he said. ‘We should find an actor and find out what they think and find a good story. If we just drop it in there and then go to the basement and there is Q with exploding bananas, it is not going to work. Q has been done and it has been done brilliantly and with great humour. We have to find a way to bring Q into it properly. I think we owe it to the franchise.’

Note to Craig and Bond producers. The perfect way to showcase Q in this franchise can be seen in both BATMAN BEGINS and THE DARK KNIGHT
