Confirmation on a January news story has come through from People. Child star Dakota Fanning who has recently turned 15 will star in the TWILIGHT sequel NEW MOON which begins filming this month in Vancouver.
Fanning will play Jane, part of a deadly group of vampire killers. She is described as a petite blonde, who works with two sidekicks three times her size but it’s her they are terrified of.
“We did just get a script. We’re shooting the rest of the films back to back,” says Nikki Reed, who plays Rosalie Hale in the film. “(Director) Chris Weitz is amazing and I think it’s going to be wonderful.”
They are shooting the rest of the series back-to-back? So they are shooting three movies in one go now?
Summit Entertainment will release NEW MOON on November 20, 2009.

I never saw TWILIGHT, but Dakota Fanning as a vampire killer sounds intriguing!
Having read the books, I think she’s a good choice for Jane.

Wasnt to sure to start with cause she still has some growing to do and could change between now and movie four but now i think she would be great as Jane
