Clooney and Blanchett in talks for Fantastic Mr. Fox

19330.jpgGeorge Clooney and Cate Blanchett are in talks to voice the main characters of Wes Anderson’s stop motion animated flick The Fantastic Mr. Fox.

The movie is of course an adaptation of Roald Dahl’s classic story that tells the tale of a clever fox who constantly outwits three farmers who are on the hunt to kill him for stealing their produce.

Anderson is set to shoot the picture after completing his work on his current feature The Darjeeling Ltd.

Hmmm, it’s a fun story and one I remember reading fondly some years ago but Wes Anderson? Really? I know the guy has his fans and everything but every movie he has ever worked on has put me to sleep.

I just don’t get what this guy is trying to do with his movies.
