Chiwetel Ejiofor has become the latest actor to join Ridley Scott’s 70’s drama American Gangster. He has been cast to play a drug lord and brother to Denzel Washington’s character Frank.
I’ve only seen Ejiofor in two movies, Love Actually and last summer’s bore-fest Serenity. I dunno what it is about that movie but I was so bored watching it in the cinema, I can’t believe so many people liked it, although I did think Ejiofor came out of the movie with a good performance.
Must admit, American Gangster is shaping up to be a hell of a film. Next year is going to be a great year to visit the cinema.
