Coming Soon have got the scoop on an article from USA Today that mentions some very interesting details about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie that comes out on March 30th….
Sarah Michelle Gellar will be voicing April. (She serves as mother figure to the Turtles and helps them out with technical side of things).
Zhang Ziyi will be voicing the movie’s villian Karai, who leads an army known as the “Foot Ninja’s”. What no shredder? That sucks! The image on the left shows Karai and her ninja’s.
Patrick Stewart will be voicing the movie’s other villain Max Winters who is described as “a tech industrialist who is amassing an army of monsters in the city”.
Chris Evans (The Human Torch in Fantastic Four) will be playing the hockey stick swinging vigilante Casey Jones who helps the Turtles on their missions. I remember thinking he was cool in the live-action movies!!!
What’s interesting about the article in USA Today is that they mention the new movie will begin from where the last live-action Turtles movie left off continuity wise. Which I guess kinda explains why Shredder won’t be involved as he was killed off in the second movie.
A better voice cast than I was expecting then. No celeb voices are doing the Turtles themselves.

Zhang Ziyi is voicing the villian??? Can she even speak intelligible English??? Besides, that woman is so gorgeous that she deserves to have her face shown onscreen at any possible moment. How about this – she can play the villian, but she needs to be the only live action element in the film. And she’s so tough, she’d STILL kick their computer-generated asses.
