
The BIFA nominations were announced today and Control leads the pack with 10 nominations (including nods for Sam Riley, Samantha Morton, Toby Kebbell and director Anton Corbijn).
Other films with strong showings are And When Did You Last See Your Father? (seven noms), Hallam Foe (six) and Eastern Promises (five).
Ray Winstone is the recipient of the Richard Harris Award for Outstanding Contribution and Daniel Craig the Variety Award for being completely awesome… okay, it’s actually for bringing the Brit film industry into the international spotlight.
