It’s 1-18-08 which means that CLOVERFIELD must have been released and that brand new STAR TREK teaser trailer will be playing all around the U.S. right now.
I seriously have never in my lifetime seen as much hype for a STAR TREK movie ever (I wasn’t around in 79 when the first movie hit).
Where the hell were all these people when STAR TREK: NEMESIS was released six years ago? Where have all these new Trekkies come from, has this Lost creator and the director of MISSION IMPOSSIBLE III really turned so many people back onto TREK?
Or is it the characters of Kirk, McCoy, Scotty and Spock returning that is getting everyone worked up?
That pretty epic teaser trailer has been bootlegged online and you can see it below. What I loved most of all? Those sounds at the end? Haunting and nostalgic… loved it. I can’t wait to see a darker TREK which I think is what we most certainly will get this Christmas.
