Daniel Craig has become the latest actor to shave his head for the good of a movie role. The James Bond star has done the deed for his upcoming flick I, Lucifer which co-stars the ”I turned down the Bond role” actor Ewan McGregor.
The movie is based on a Glen Duncan book of 2003 where Satan is offerred a human body for one month, provided that he doesn’t permanently harm his host in anyway. The premise is, he if he can live out the month blamelessly, he will be able to keep the body until it grows old and dies. If he can live the good life and repent his sins… he will be allowed to enter Heaven, though not as an Angel.
The host is of course a drunk writer who is about to commit suicide.
Sounds really quite awesome. Dan Harris is helming the flick, his only movie of note was Imaginary Heroes but he is probably better known for the scripts he has written for Bryan Singer which include X-Men 2, Superman Returns and the Logan’s Run remake which Singer has been dying to shoot for years.
The movie is set to come out next year… not really sure if the new look does much for Craig.
