It’s been revealed in a casting notice sent out yesterday that filming will begin in January on Bond 22 (although a few things have actually been shot already) with a Latina actress filling the role of the next Bond Girl.
FilmJerk carry the news via Coming Soon…
According to casting notices sent out this morning, producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson are looking for a Latina actress in her late twenties, preferably with South American roots. Despite their plea that prospective talent not be worried about fitting the traditional Bond Girl look, since this is the “new” Bond series, she must be quite beautiful, able to handle what promises to be a physically demanding role, fluent in English and, last but most certainly not least, a great actress.
Whoever they pick for the role will have a tough task on their hands if they are to outdo Eva Green’s performance in Casino Royale. She was easily the most interesting love interest Bond has had in decades.
So, we think Bond 22 will be titled The Property of a Lady. We think it will begin filming in January. And we think a Latina actress will play the Bond girl. Stay tuned on this one!

Hmm, I think I see an opening for Eva Mendes on the horizon. Would be the fisrt time a Hispanic actress has played a Bond girl.
