Black Snake Moan finally makes it to the U.K. on DVD

Did Black Snake Moan even get a U.K. theatrical release?

If it did I missed it. I was quite looking forward to seeing Samuel. L. Jackson as a god-fearing man trying to cure a smokin’ hot Christian Ricci from her wicked ways but alas, the powers that be didn’t think it was for this country’s tastes.

I’ve heard the movie isn’t really that great anyway but I will pick up my copy on Sepetember 15th when it hits our shelves with the following extra’s which are identical to the Region 1 release…

  • Commentary with Writer/Director Craig Brewer
  • Conflicted: The Story Of Black Snake Moan
  • Rooted In The Blues
  • The Black Snake Moan
  • Deleted Scenes with Optional Commentary
  • Photo Gallery

  1. It got a release just not a very wide one, something I will probably pick up on DVD myself.

  2. I was looking forward to this one, but with its limited release there was nowhere nearby to see it. I hope to see it soon, just for Sammy L. Jackson’s religious rumblings.
