We could have a great movie on our hands here. Ben Affleck’s directorial debut Gone, Baby, Gone has finally got round to promoting a trailer online and boy does it look awesome. It looks to be a confident film with no thrills, just pure storytelling with great casting and lots of time given to it’s actors.

You can tell this is made by an actor.

Casey Affleck (he can act ya know guys) leads the cast that includes the acting giants of Morgan Freeman and Ed Harris along with Mission Impossible III’s Michelle Monaghan.

The movie is based on a novel by the same guy who wrote Mystic River and is set to hit U.S. theatres in a limited run in October. Looks like it could be worth the trip to hunt it down…

Casey Affleck is probably the most monotone (vocally only) actors of his generation

i actually like Casey’s style. it’s underacting.

and i think the monotone aspect was intentional.
