BAT OUT OF HELL for McSwany!

Drew McWeeny (a.k.a Moriarty from AICN) and his longtime writing partner Scott Swan have setup the horror movie Bat Out of Hell at Parallel Media, a new production company from the guy behind the Final Destination and American Pie movies and will be made somewhere in between the $4 million and $15 million bracket.

The pair (who want to be known as McSwany) have previously scribed two episodes of the Masters of Horror anthology series.

Insiders tell us the story is set on a red eye flight from Los Angeles to New York and something lurking in the cargo hold has a certain group of passengers concerned. The plot is said to put a new spin on a classic monster and “master of horror” is circling the script.

Kinda like Snakes on a Plane then?

Wonder what the monster could be. It could be zombies but we have already seen that with the rip-off Flight of the Living Dead - or whatever that movie was called.

Maybe it’s Meat Loaf pissed at the copyright infringement?
