The British version of the Oscars, The BAFTA Awards nominations have been annouced.
Not to many suprises in this list. Daniel Craig for Best Actor in Casino Royale is quite a shock, those sort of big roles hardly ever get any love. No doubt, he was fantastic at what he did, but he’s no Bond to me.
Nice to see Emily Blunt get Best Supporting Actress for The Devil Wears Prada, she was great in that. A little suprised United 93 didn’t come in with a Best Film nomination over Babel and Little Miss Sunshine, could it be a sign of things to come at the Oscars?

I think it’s great that Daniel Craig got the recognition for a nomination. He probably might not win but it’s good that he is nominated.
But where’s the nomination for Mark Wahlberg??? Big disappointment I personally think as he really deserves the recognition (It would be so great if he would get nominated for the Oscar)
GRRRRRRRRRR … stop ripping on Daniel Craig, Matty.
Yeah Walhberg was great in The Departed but I’m not outraged he wasn’t nominated.
Daniel Craig was good I said! At the Bond they had scripted, he was fine.
