Ashley JuddI hadn’t actually realised that the rom-com No Reservations starring Aaron Eckhart and Catherine Zeta Jones was actually a remake of a 2001 movie from Sandra Nettlebeck until I read the review from our writer Mike Randall. Though it’s probably because I turned off from reading any news about No Reservations after seeing the hideous trailer, I really don’t think there has been any movie this year that has interested me less than that one in 2007.

According to today’s Variety, Nettlebeck’s next movie Helen will center on a music professor who is struggling with being a mum and is at the rock bottom of depression. She can’t relate with any of her family members and the only person she can talk to is a much younger female student of hers.

Ashley Judd, who at this point seems destined to forever star in this Indie flicks, has been tapped up for the lead role..

This will be Nettlebeck’s first Hollywood movie and will be financed by Egoli Tossell Film and Insight Film Studios.

Shooting will begin in Vancouver on October 2nd.
