TRZ is the new title Production Weekly have listed for the sequel to TRON, which will see Jeff Bridges return to play Kevin Flynn, the computer programmer who was abducted into the world of video games in the 1982 original.
The previous title we heard was TR2N. One wonders why TRON 2 was out of the running?

“After being transported into the surreal landscape of a mainframe computer to destroy an intruder, a programmer finds himself allied with the leader of a rebellion against a corrupt cyber-entity.”
Commercials helmer Joseph Kosinski is directing the movie. No start or release date has been given but I wouldn’t be surprised if this was a Summer 2011 release.
