Dear Obsessed With Film readers,
If you have visited the site in the last 12 hours or so you will have noticed an article titled “Hollywood Necrophilia” written for the site by Chris Daniel and posted without my prior awareness or knowledge. Rest assured if I had seen the article beforehand, it would not in any way shape or form have been published.
As mentioned, Obsessed With Film is not a one man show and although I do around 90% of the days articles, I do have a large team of writers who help me out with things and also to promote their own distinctive voice with interesting and varied articles. However the article in question was inexcusable and Chris’ thoughts and wordings do not account for the whole staff at the site.
The article has been taken down and in future I will be screening all of the articles from Chris, like I do with most of the writers here. Sadly, this one slipped through my fingers whilst I was asleep.
Thank you for the 21 e-mails and the 7 comments left in the talkback zone. We hope you weren’t offended and will decide to stay around with us despite one misguided article.

Deepest apologies from the editor,
