Another IRON MAN photo to wheat your appetite.
Just 3 and a half months to go now.
Going to be interesting to see how much this makes at the box office. IRON MAN is not as recognised a Marvel character as SPIDER-MAN is to the general “non comic book reading” public and the trailers so far haven’t gone for that kid audience like FANTASTIC FOUR.
Robert Downey Jr. is a popular actor but with a budget reportedly around $150 million, it too must hit the $300 million worldwide barrier (which THE GOLDEN COMPASS didn’t) to be a worthwhile venture.
I dearly hope IRON MAN’S not a flop because it would lead to more Marvel movies in the mould of GHOST RIDER…

Agreed! Ghost Rider was a pet project of the late CEO of Marvel and it did better than original forecasts…
I hoping that they’ll put some time/money/thought into these films (like Iron Man) otherwise, they’ll get to stamping out copies like the old Marvel movies.
