Wow, I just had a big wave of nostalgia. This poster exclusive to the Vegas 07 Con is so frikkin’ old school, I love it!

I’ve been skeptical about J.J. Abrams for 12 months now but he’s slowly been starting to win me over with his approach to things and he seems to really respect the source material far more than I thought he would. The additions of Captain Pike for example, is something that even the die-hard Trek fans probably wouldn’t expect.

I do kinda wish the cast would be around 5 years older than they are casting but at the end of the day if they are the right guys for the roles, then who cares? I mean the casting of Lost and Mission Impossible III were really impressive, so this is a department Abrams can thrive in.
