Alvin and the “Disturbing” Chipmunks

Well I don’t know quite what to say about this poster. The chipmunks are creepy, disturbing little creatures and it looks like they have been turned into an evil gangster group.
And then there’s just the big head of Jason Lee which just cements how ridiculous it’s going to be when these small CGI characters are blended with himself who will be live-action.
I like Jason Lee and it’s not like he has been struggling for work recently. My Name is Earl is a huge hit for him and he has been working pretty steady for a decade now. I’m dumbfounded as to why he chose to do this flick, you can’t be struggling that much for cash?
Alvin and the Chipmunks will be released on the 14th of December under the direction of Muppets from Space and Garfield 2 helmer Tim Hill.
