Alien vs. Predator 2 footage

Whoever’s idea it was to make the first Alien vs. Predator movie a PG-13 should truly be shot at dawn. That film should have been a hard R (which honestly, wasn’t even the tip of the iceberg for the problems that movie had) and by the sounds of this footage below they aren’t going to make the same mistake twice.

This behind the scenes video, found through Coming Soon shows first time feature directors Colin and Gregg Strause talking through their plans for the sequel Alien vs. Predator 2: Survival of the Fittest

I know Alien vs. Predator sucked, and there hasn’t been a movie in either franchise that has been worth watching in years but these guys seem to know what they are talking about. With an unblemished record, should we give these guys a chance instead of writing the film off?

  1. Ugh … special effects guys directing a movie. Not a good thing.

I think they shoulda scrapped this gimmicky thing and made the one movie that is a guaranteed blockbuster: Alien 5, with the hybrid alien/Ripley leading an army to the alien homeworld to battle against them - or is she?

    This is a NO BRAINER!!!

  2. ^^That would make a sick movie.
I have to say though that if these guys truly mean what they are saying in terms of the direction they’re taking with the movie then I say bring it on.
