Alan Dale in INDIANA JONES

Alan DaleIs it really casting news when a film has already wrapped and the actor’s part no doubt shot already and sent to the editing room?

Sure, why not. It’s a Saturday after all and this is pretty interesting news anyway.

Regular American T.V. actor Alan Dale (UGLY BETTY, THE O.C., LOST) has revealed that he has a part in INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL, and that he was so proud to be working with Spielberg, Lucas and Ford that he called his time on the movie the best of his career.

No word on what role the former NEIGHBOURS star has in the flick but once again Spielberg has picked an actor who has an awesome presence for supporting roles and can do so much with a character in so little screen time. I really can’t wait to see how players like John Hurt, Jim Broadbent and now Alan Dale will fit into Indy’s universe and then you just keep forgetting that Cate Blanchett is in this too.

Only five months to go now until Indy returns to our screens after a two decade absence and we continue to pray that this film will meet our huge expectations.
