Slash Film have posted 8 minutes of footage from Evan Almighty which is released in the U.S. this weekend. It’s going straight up against the horror/thriller 1408 starring John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson, and it’s going to be extremely interesting to see how both movies perform.

They are both going out for different audiences but of course there’s more pressure on Evan Almighty with it’s HUGE budget.

The 8 minutes made me sleepy but I guess I decided a long time ago I wasn’t going to see this sequel.
