The Simpsons Movie has done nothing but turn me off wanting to see it so far. It’s a shame, because we have waited years to see the show make the transition to movies, and now it actually has no-one seems to care.
Cinema Blend have got the scoop on six brand new posters for this summer’s movie and I have to say, they are all extremely lackluster. These are the most boring posters they could have made for the movie, I hate character one-sheets.
The one on the left is a little disturbing too. I’m surprised they got away with that for a family movie.

I stopped watching the Simpsons when I was in my early teens. I can’t believe it’s still on the air. I’ll admit the trailers have made me chuckle once or twice, but they don’t tell me anything about the plot of the film. Is it just an 90 minute Simpsons episode? I don’t know.
I know for a fact I won’t see it in the theater unless I hear amazing reviews. I think this movie is about 10 years too late in the making. I think Family Guy did the right thing by making a direct-to-DVD movie during a time when it’s fame was at a high (the movie was actually made after the show was canceled a second time).
Good luck to the Simpsons movie, but I personally could care less.
