20th Century Fox are playing the desperation card. Coming Soon have confirmed with the studio that the new trailer for X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE will play only in the theatres specifically with prints of THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL on Dec. 12th and won’t be shown online or on t.v. until a later date.
In other words, they are trying to reach out that little further to entice the comic book geeks that this new Keanu Reeves blockbuster might actually be worth seeing. Clearly they are starting to get anxious over the appeal of such a bleak looking movie.
In regards to X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE, means we will be subjected to recorded bootlegged trailers like this which leaked online showing a presentation from the Comic Con Panel of the movie this summer…
Will the appearance of Wolverine be enough to see the awful looking remake of THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL?

I wonder if they’ll finally show the dragonball trailer too? It was supposed to be with Max Payne and it leaked on the net. Everyone was talking about how shitty it looked and suddenly it wasn’t with Max Payne anymore and Fox was like, That wasn’t the trailer that’s supposed to be shown. Well then why’d you show it?
Then suddenly there were some new shoots for the movie.
They also did that recently with that picture of the “monster form” Goku. It leaked and everyone said how much it sucked. Fox said, Oh that’s not the official form of it.
Looked like a pretty darn clean pic to me. Obviously it was taken on set.
I think Fox knows it sucks and are just trying to wait as long as they can to show stuff. Perhaps make some flashy graphic advertisements packed with every action scene in the movie to get the kiddies.
