I’ve never been a fan of The Golden Globes, my psyche only having room for one awards ceremony and this year more than ever it’s extremely low key without the big t.v. coverage.
So unless you were happy to waste your time watching the turd of a press conference, then you will be shocked and surprised as ever by some of their ridiculous choices as listed below. The first one being the big award, Best Motion Picture Drama which amazingly was given to the tired old Kiera Knightely/James McAvoy love story ATONEMENT over the likes of NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN and THERE WILL BE BLOOD.
Remember this was the award ceremony last year which gave BABEL and DREAMGIRLS the top nods.
Ridiculous.

Not much of interest. What’s with the separation between “drama” and “comedy or musical” anyway?
