Hey, you just gotta love the poster for this thing.
10,000 B.C, Roland Emmerich’s latest big production struggled to find it’s identity in the trailer and came off as a lite-APOCALYPTO but if they promote it with this kind of poster then they are on for a sure fine winner.
I wouldn’t expect this movie to have any more depth than THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW or INDEPENDENCE DAY but it will probably be just as fun.
Martin Scorsese’s next movie is SHUTTER ISLAND, a thriller based on Dennis Lehane’s novel he has made with Leonardo DiCaprio, Michelle Williams, Jackie Earle Haley, Ben Kingsley, Emily Mortimer, Mark Ruffalo, Patricia Clarkson, Elias Koteas and Max Von Sydow. The movie opens in October. His next movie is expected to be SILENCE about Japanese feudal lords starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Benicio del Toro and Gael Garcia Bernal.
