The more I see of this movie, the less I want to see it.

Wanted starring James McAvoy, Angelina Jolie, Morgan Freeman and from the director of the Russian fantasy series Night Watch, opens worldwide on June 27th.

I saw Nightwatch/Daywatch. They were “okay” visually, but overall boring. Bekmembatov has to prove with this flick that he’s not just a flaky, quirky director, but somebody who can tell a compelling story, not just string together a number of interesting visuals.

I’d be interested in seeing Bekmambatov’s other work, but this doesn’t sound inspiring at all for me personally. Can Angelina Jolie and James McAvoy especially pull off a convincing superhero action movie? We shall have to wait and see…
