Greatest Movie Scenes #9 – Miller’s Crossing

Posted by Matt Holmes on September 17, 2006 – 7:48 am | 4 comments

millers_crossing_dvd.jpgThis week’s great movie scene is from the Coen brothers classic Miller’s Crossing. The clip is the Danny Boy scene involving the attempted assination of Albert Finney’s character Leo. The scene is of course later referenced in the anime portion of Tarantino’s Kill Bill.

Sit back and watch this really cool scene.

Well, it’s a fine scene…I have been watching your “Greatest Movie Scenes” list for some time…you and I have different ideas about what constitues greatest scenes in movie history.

But you make a good argument.

Yeah i agree with you, the title of the feature is slightly misleading. It should be called “Great” movie scenes really, as most of the time they aren’t even the best scene of the movie and just the best I can post due to various things.

Well maybe I can help you post them, if you’d like.

By the way, Matt…this is my favorite movie website now. On my blog, it is listed number one, ahead of whorish websites like Aintitcoolnews.com

You’re a movie lover like me, and it shows.

If you ever need any help, let me know.

Thank you for the kind words and sure that would be a HUGE help in getting the best movie scenes onto the site. I will e-mail you sometime in the near future about it.
