Greatest Movie Scenes #12 - Saving Private Ryan

This week’s great movie scene is the bloody opening seven minutes to Steven Spielberg’s oscar winning Saving Private Ryan. I never really understood the true horror of war until I saw this movie and this opening scene will always be what I think of when I hear about the horrific nature of WWII.
For those who haven’t seen the movie, I should probably warn you that the opening of the movie is violent and quite shocking.
