An unapproved poster for the upcoming film Wristcutters: A Love Story financed by After Dark Films which caused such an outrage last week, has found it’s way online.
You may remember the other day we spoke about it.
The movie which played at Sundance, “is set in a strange afterlife way station that has been reserved for people who have committed suicide” angered 15 suicide prevention groups who proposed a campaign against the dark comedy after the marketing campaign was to advertise people killing themselves.
This is one such poster on the left hand side, and yes it’s very subtly disturbing and kinda sick…. but is it really that bad? I would certainly argue that those Capitvity posters that we hosted a week ago were far worse.
I’m interested to know what you think. Should this poster have been banned? Do you think it’s worse than the Capitivity ones???
source – bloody disgusting

This poster isn’t too bad … but of course this one wasn’t the one that caused the outrage, either. The other proposed posters had kids hanging from ropes, or jumping off of bridges. And that’s pretty bad.
