Chris Nolan locked in for “The Prisoner”?

nolan.jpgIt looks as if once Christopher Nolan has finished shooting “The Dark Knight” next summer, he will begin working on an adaptation of the 1967 British drama “The Prisoner”.

Here is the some “Prisoner” info from coming soon

“The series lasted only 17 episodes in 1967. Patrick McGoohan played a government agent who resigns, is kidnapped and placed on an isolated island known as the Village. He’s given a new identity — Number Six — and interacts with an island staff trying to get him to reveal why he resigned”.

Looks like Nolan will be keeping up his tradition of making a personal film that he wants to bring to the screen, then shooting a Batman movie in between. Sounds good to me, we get the best of both worlds, an awesome Batman movie and then a great Nolan flick from another genre. Anyone seen the ITV drama “The Prisoner”?

source - coming soon
