The latest genre to be spoofed by the writer of the last two Scary Movies will be the comic book movie genre, as Dimension Films have announced that casting is complete on Superhero!. Production will begin on Monday says Variety.

The cast includes Leslie Nielsen and Data from Star Trek, along with a bunch of absolute unknowns.

Unlike some of the genre’s they spoof, you can see where they are coming from because these superhero flicks are everywhere at the moment and like the first Scary Movie which actually had some funny moments, they might be able to get a few laughs out of this.

Regardless of the quality though you can guarantee this will top the box office for the weekend they open it, and because of that they will keep on finding more and more genre’s to spoof, and to keep Leslie Nielsen ticking over with cash.
