It’s been a busy year for Obsessed With Film writers. Simon “Will” Reynolds, who the longer time readers of this site may remember wrote daily movie news for us last year, secured a full time job in the industry and both our feature writers Tom Fallows and Mike Kaminski got book deals for GEORGE A. ROMERO and THE SECRET HISTORY OF STAR WARS respectively.
Now, James Rawson who has wrote a number of reviews for us is about to move into the exciting venture of television, assistant producing his own weekly show Cinepolitics which debuts Wednesday at 3.35pm on SKY CHANNEL 515, and then is repeated on Thursdays at 7:35am and 11:35am.
From James’ e-mail to me this week…
In our first episode we will be discussing Ridley Scott’s Body Of Lies, with Russell being joined in the studio by Karl French of The Financial Times, and former MI5 Intelligence Officer Annie Machon. Other films featured in December include the critically acclaimed animation Waltz With Bashir, Israeli drama Lemon Tree and the independent documentary Blue Gold: World Water Wars.
This show has nothing to do with Obsessed With Film, this is purely a plug for one of our writers personal endeavors!
Make sure you tune in and leave feedback at the show’s Facebook page, this will be vital for the continuing growth of the show.
