A small ADAMS FAMILY reunion in LONG TIME GONE

Angelica Huston & Christina Ricci who played mother and daughter in the ghoulish comedic Adams Family movies are teaming together for the first time in 15 years for Long Time Gone - an adaptation of a mid 90’s April Stevens novel by the name of Angel Angel.

Josh Lucas and Justin Bartha co-star say The Hollywood Reporter

Ricci will play a mysterious woman who enters the life of a dysfunctional family and turns it upside down, one member at a time.

Karen McCullah Lutz wrote the screenplay, and is producing with Seth Jaret’s Jaret Entertainment and Steven G. Kaplan & Gregg L. Daniel’s Rainstorm Entertainment.

Lutz is the screenwriter of such feminist crap as Legally Blonde and She’s the Man. The film will be directed by regular t.v. helmer Adam Davidson who will be making his feature debut.

Sounds a little like the Drew Barrymore trash that was Poison Ivy - based somewhat on Lolita about a sexy blonde who slept her way to the head of a family. Is the feisty Ricci playing that kind of role here and if so - is it wrong of me to anticipate this film on that basis only?
