Not one for discussing gossip, I usually shy away from these kind of articles but man when you play Batman and the biggest movie of your whole life, one of the biggest films of all time, is just one day from the first public screenings in the U.K. and you get arrested for this kind of offence, it’s pretty much impossible to avoid it.
Christian Bale, the star of The Dark Knight was arrested earlier today with allegations of assaulting his mother and his sister at the Dorchester Hotel in London on Sunday night.
The actor who turned up at a London police station by appointment (he had a Premiere last night after all) was questioned and kept for four hours, where he was later let out on bail. He is due back in September pending further enquiries.
The incident was described by his mother to the press as “a family matter”. Bale’s spokesman said that Bale “co-operated throughout, gave his account in full of the events in question, and left the station without any charge”.
In other news, incredibly The Dark Knight earned $24.5 million on Monday, which puts its total on $182.9 million. If it earns $17.1 million for Tuesday, then it will SMASH the previous record of eight days to reach $200 million set by Spider-Man eight years ago.
The Dark Knight will have done it in five, though even if it fails with Tuesday’s figure – it’s a record it will break inevitably on Wednesday.
Incredibly, The Dark Knight earned the fourth highest gross on a Monday in cinema history, behind Indiana Jones IV, Pirates of the Caribbean 3 and Spider-Man 2.

So just how many people were able to see the movie is baffling and really incredible. Did they miss work, were they all students, the unemployed or were the night showings MEGA packed?!

i marvel at the precise timing of the incident.
i won’t be surprised if it turns out that the mom & sis of Christian Bale were after the mojo (you know, the $$$$$$$ that the Bat-actor is about to gross OR has already grossed, given his involvement with this uber-successful venture).

youre the one that sucks ass robin is an awesome caharacter thats lasted as long as Batman throgh the decades, dont get mad cause robin gets more chicks then u AND YOUR PENIS SIZE IS EXPONENTIALLY SMALLER THAN HIS! AHOLE!
