Ron Livingston, who so perfectly captured the disillusioned and cynical modern day office worker in the cult favourite comedy Office Space has signed on to return to that kind of working lifestyle for the Indie movie The Company Man.

He will play an aging businessman who is struggling to keep his company afloat in a collapsing economic environment.

Raul Sanchez Inglis who recently helmed the STV drama Vice with Michael Madsen and Darryl Hannah, will direct from the screenplay he wrote.

The private equities funded film will start production in mid-October.

IMDB have the impressive cast list of Martin Landau, Steve Buscemi and Steve Zahn listed but one wonders if such a modest picture will have so many well known faces.

So we already know that the "yawn-a-minute" Timothy Olyphant will play a deadly hitchhiker who makes the lives of a newlywed couple driving to their honeymoon an absolute misery in A Perfect Getaway.

We also know that Steve Zahn will play one half of the couple and now the roles of both the villain's partner and the husband's new bride have been cast. The Hollywood Reporter say Milla Jovovich will play the wife to Zahn and Kiele Sanchez (she was Nikki from Lost) will play Olyphant's companion.

Jovovich would have been a decent choice for the villain but I like this girl from Lost. She does look kinda nasty... in it for the money. Am I setting myself up for a failure here, or will this actually be a good flick?

Production begins one week today!

Back in January we told you that Timothy Olyphant had been cast in A Perfect Getaway, a new project from writer/director David Twohy (Pitch Black, The Chronicles of Riddick) centering around a newlywed couple who stumble across two strange and deadly hitchhikers.

I suggested that Olyphant would probably play one of the villains, something which was almost a no-brainer and has been confirmed today by The Hollywood Reporter.

The trades also say Steve Zahn has joined the cast, as one half of the newlywed couple. His wife in the movie, and the other hitchhiker villain has yet to be cast.

I didn't think much of Zahn until Rescue Dawn last year where he blew me away actually. More of that intensity here please.

Twohy was also the guy who came up with the screenplay for the Harrison Ford/Tommy Lee Jones awesome chase-thriller The Fugitive, so he's capable of writing an interesting situation thriller like this. I'm hopeful, though Olyphant bored the shit out of me in 2007.

Production begins March 31st in Hawaii and Puerto Rico for Relativity Media and MGM.
