New Line have attempted to solve the problem of promoting 9 recognisable actors in their upcoming comedy HE'S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU by putting all of them together in a collage. I think it works.

The movie stars a whole host of leading players including Ben Affleck, Jennifer Aniston, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Connelly, Scarlett Johansson and Justin Long.

The previously released trailer also pointed towards Ginnifer Goodwin being a central point of the film and well, she does get most of the space in the poster.

Ken Kwapis (LICENSE TO WED, THE SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELLING PANTS) directs, with a new trailer set to debut sometime later today at MySpace. New Line have also released a photo album from the movie HERE.

The movie opens February 6th 2009 in the U.S. and presumably a few weeks later in the U.K.

Ah, Ginnifer Goodwin. Remember her from Walk the Line - she's an interesting actress but nah she can't be leading the film can she? No because there's Jennifer Connolly and Jennifer Aniston, both looking old when you watch the trailer in 1080 HD.

Ben Affleck, great to see him back. I love that he has won back critical acclaim after his brilliant performance in Hollywoodland and his stunning directorial debut Gone Baby Gone.

Scarlett Johannson - HOT HOT HOT. Drew Barrymore, Justin Long, Bradley Cooper, Kevin Connolly. It's a great cast for sure but everything seems a little flat in this trailer. Let's just show all the big names we signed... don't matter if the jokes are rubbish, who cares...

Find out that HE'S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU in HD!
The movie is based on the best selling book that is a social commentary on modern-day relationships and how men and women often confuse signals from the opposite sex. Two writers who worked on Sex and the City wrote the book however the script has been adapted by Drew Barrymore for the big screen.
Ken Kwapis (License to Wed, Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants) directs and it's due out on October 24th. Feels like ...

Gone Baby Gone was an incredible directorial debut from the multi-talented Ben Affleck who in the past two years has finally started to put those terrible low brow comedies behind him and has really stepped up his game as an interesting voice in the industry once again.

Smartly, the news today is that Affleck is teaming once again with Gone Baby Gone screenwriter Aaron Stockard and Miramax Studio's to produce (and possibly direct but the trades don't say that) another film noir/crime novel in The Blade Itself, a well reviewed first time novel from Marcus Sakey.

"Blade" revolves around two Chicago childhood friends who made their reputation committing petty crimes as kids before choosing different paths in life. When they are reunited years later, one is forced to decide how far he will go to protect the secrets of his past. Esquire magazine named the novel one of the five best of 2007.
Affleck currently has no directing projects in the works so I guess with him producing that it's his flick if he wants to direct it.

I would love to see Affleck become the crime novelist specialist, adapting dark and grim books that your never likely to read and transforming them into ...
